MMA (Men’s Ministry Alliance) is a new battlefield coalition with a single mission: to bring every men’s ministry leader in South Carolina under one roof. We aren't looking for spectators; we are building a brotherhood of leaders who are ready to strategize, sharpen one another, and build the men God has called us to be. A Vision Born from a Calling

On April 8, 2025, God did something unexpected. Out of nowhere, He spoke with absolute clarity and laid out the vision for J3 Retreat. I didn’t see it coming—but God did! Since that pivotal day, months of fervent prayer have revealed a massive, undeniable plan for GEN MEN 3.9. This vision is infinitely bigger than me. It’s about building God’s Kingdom, and He has explicitly burned this mission into my heart: We are called to be MEN BUILDING & UNITING MEN, WHO BUILD & UNITE MEN.

God has shown me that people ultimately learn far more from your life than your mouth. Living that truth out loud is the very definition of a Certain Man.

So, here we go!

The Missing Link in Men’s Ministry

There is something undeniably powerful about a large gathering of men. These events are awesome, they are needed, and they change lives. But we have to ask ourselves a critical question: What’s next?

Once the event is over, we must grow these men spiritually so they truly know who Jesus is and what He has commanded of them. Too often, we host great men’s events, give away outdoor gear, share the Word, and send them home. But when they return, many local churches lack a dedicated men's program to keep feeding them spiritually.

To put it bluntly, the enemy often has a more strategic plan to target men than the average church does. Most Sunday programs—including the worship services—are naturally designed with elements that appeal more to women.

Let me be completely clear: I am 100% for large-scale men’s events. I help organize them! I deeply love the local church and believe it is vital to every believer's daily walk. These ministries are great and necessary.

However, we desperately need a bridge to keep that momentum going. In many churches today, resources are understandably channeled into youth and music ministries. But men’s ministry cannot be left behind. When you win the men, you win the family, and you win the culture.

This is Where GEN MEN 3.9 Steps In

We are here to link arms with the local church. We want to help pastors organize thriving men’s ministries by sharing our experiences, tools, and resources. We believe with all our hearts that the church comes alive when it makes men a priority.

All it takes is one or two guys willing to spark the fire and seek God. GEN MEN 3.9 wants to help you start that fire.

  • We can come directly to your church to share the vision and equip your team.
  • You can join us at our CAMO (Calling All Men Out) Gatherings, held several times a month, to experience our community and get plugged into our resources.

The Dream: J3 Retreat & GEN MEN Camp

This brings us back to the blueprint God provided on April 8, 2025: The J3 Retreat model.

Our vision for this dedicated space includes:

  • 4 Cabins: Each housing up to 4 campers (2 bunk beds per cabin).
  • A Full Bath House: Equipped with two complete bathrooms.
  •  An Outdoor Chapel: For worshiping God surrounded by His creation.
  • A Multi-Purpose Center: An indoor kitchen, cafeteria, and worship hub.

The heartbeat of this property will be GEN MEN Camp, founded on Genesis 3:9: “And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” God knew physically where Adam was, but He was asking where Adam was spiritually. At GEN MEN Camp, men will discover exactly what God has commanded of them as spiritual leaders for their families and communities.

While GEN MEN Camp will always be our flagship priority, the J3 Retreat will also host specialized camps designed to ignite transformation across generations:

  • Pastors' Retreats – The Church Comes Alive When It Makes Men A Priority.
  • Dad & Son Camps – All About the Son—building generational legacy.
  • Senior Men’s Camps – If You're Not Dead, You’re Not Done!
